This photo (apparently taken in the days before highway underpasses were common) appeared in a print advertisement for model year 1936 Ford Trucks.

"POWER AND SPEED ENABLE ME TO HOLD TO A FIXED SCHEDULE"

A. C. Motor Express, (Mr. Christy Nekitopoulos), of Springfield, writes: "I am operating two Ford V-8's, hauling from Boston to Springfield. It has pleased me especially to note the fine performance of my new 1936 Ford V-8. This truck (see below) has power and speed - two factors which enable me to hold to a fixed schedule on my trips. The positive mechanical brakes give me a feeling of safety and security at all times."
