Services

A-C Motor Express specializes in transporting all types of temperature controlled and expedited shipments.

Our fleet of company owned vehicles, experienced drivers, logistic experts and support staff combined with our 70 years in the freight handling business gives us the experience and know-how to expertly handle your time and/or temperature sensitive cargo.

A-C Motor Express can work with you to provide a freight handling solution that ensures your product gets where it needs to be on-time and intact.

LTL

A-C Motor Express has extensive daily scheduled LTL routes throughout our service area. We can easily arrange to pick up your shipments on a regular or limited time basis. If the delivery destination is along the same route, we can make a drop off for you before our truck returns home.

Otherwise, we simply transport your product back to our terminal for transfer onto another of our vehicles scheduled to travel in the destination area.

Truckload

To accommodate large shipments, A-C Motor Express can arrange to dedicate a vehicle for a single point pickup and delivery. We can even re-load at the destination or at another location and make the return trip back to the point of origin.

Consolidation

A-C Motor Express can greatly simplify freight handling for our customers by consolidating many small loads into one dedicated delivery. Consolidating loads can often save time and money while eliminating the headaches associated with managing multiple deliveries.

Our extensive network of LTL routes throughout New England gives us the flexibility to have a truck ready on short notice to make pickups within our service area. Once back at our terminal, we can assemble all received cargo destined for a single delivery point into one load for delivery.

We can also accept deliveries at our terminal from other shippers on our customer's behalf. Our convenient location and hours of operation (we accept deliveries from midnight to 4:00PM, after hours by arrangement) make it easy for long-haul shippers to get product to us. These drop-offs can then be included in the same consolidated load for shipment to our customer's location.

Distribution

If you ship product to multiple destinations, or are an out of area carrier that lacks delivery resources in the Northeast, A-C Motor Express can provide you with a delivery solution.

If you are located within our service area, we can arrange to pick up large shipments at your site. We can also receive loads dropped off at our terminal. Once the product arrives at our dock, our logistics crew can divide and load it onto the appropriate trucks for quick delivery along our LTL routes.
